Description:

Gruppe Fuhrmann Tiger I
(Sd.Kfz.181 Pz.Kpfw.VI Ausf.E)

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German WWII Tiger I tank.

Gruppe Fuhrmann, or better know as Fehrmann, was a mixed Tigers I and Panthers tanks group from the tank’s school and with tank instructors, it was composed of 6 Tiger I and 5 Panther. They are considered to be some of the latest Tiger I in combat, during April 1945, attempting to relief the Ruhr Pocket. Marking included in the kit is for the number F13, which being part of the group was not Fehrmann himself Tiger, either the last surviving Tiger.

Kit includes also PE parts, but in our opinion other markings would have been better to depict Fehrmann group, (Fehrmann commanded for sure F01 and probably F02 Tiger too, and because it was earlier hitted by a PIAT and sent to repair, F01 was the last survivor of the group) looks like Dragon just took the one with better photographic references.
