Unpainted plastic soldiers in 1/72 scale, depicting the Army of Pyrrhus of Epirus during the Pyrrhic war, 280-275BC, which ended in Rome victory and consolidation of its hegemony in the south of Italy. Due the large casualties even in the victories, Pyrrhus ended losing the war, unable to refill his troops, and giving the name to the expression of “pyrrhic victory”.
Box contains 24 foot figures in 8 different poses, all of them phalanx.
