Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Britsh Bristol Superfreighter (Bristol Type 170 Superfreighter Mk 32) cargo aircraft, capable to carry three cars and 12 passengers or 2 cars and 20 passengers depending on the configuration. The type was introduced in 1953, as a larger and stretched version of the Bristol Freighter and the kit depicts the first prototype converted to this type. Both Bristol Superfreighter and Bristol Freighter were designed for Ferry operations from England to Europe.

Airfix bring back a classic set tooled in 1959, the Bristol Superfreighter, which was released for a last time in 2005, till 2024. Originally in 1959, the kit was released with a Silver City Airways, the same aircraft was later operated under British United Air Ferries company and this marking has been keep since 1967.

Kit consists of 107 plastic parts and include decal sheet with one single marking for British United Air Ferries.
