DA-42 MPP Guardian

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Diamond DA42 Twin Star, a twin engined propeller driven aircraft developed in the early 2000s by the Austrian company Diamond Aircraft Industries.

The design has proven to be very successful and has been used by a variety of both civilian and militar operators with several specific variants and it’s the base design for a military unmanned aerial vehicle (Dominator).

MPP Guardian, derived from the M-NG variant, is a multipurpose platform modified to carry a variety of aerial sensing, mapping and surveillance payloads. The kit includes decal sheet for one single aircraft, and Austrian registered aircraft number OE-VRX, seen on the skies since 2013 and at least till 2018. This registration number is identified both as a MN-G or MPP depending on the source. Differences between both models can be externally minimal depending on the payloads.
