This kit is a variant of kit ESCI – 9014 – TWA Douglas DC-3 LINER with the only change of the decal sheet which in this release contained markings for the Swiss Air Lines.

Italeri released also a set the same year, 1981, using their own moulds with markings for the same topic, and updated it as Italeri – 1349 – DC-3 Swissair in 2014. Revell also covered the topic with code number 04248, using the Italeri moulds.

This variant of the ESCI series is pretty hard to find.
