An Airfix set original tooled in 1963 and released till the early 2000s. In the 60s and 70s, Western films were at their peak and this set together with the rest of the related Airfix releases, was a reflect of the kids interests of the time.

Set includes 18 foot figures in 13 poses, 1 mounted figure and 1 wagon with a 4 horses limber. Some of the figures are quite interesting, as they depict women and children which are not common subjects in the hobby.

The set was also included in the Wild West playset, which in our listings is included in the Airfix – Fort Apache page.

Decades later, another manufacturer took over the topic with works that are a quite improvement, such Imex – 610 – Wagon Train Set, Imex – 513 – Chuck Wagon and Prairie Schooner and Imex – 518 – Conestoga Wagon, all by Imex.
