Unpainted plastic soldiers in 1/76 scale depicting Romans.

Original Airfix set tooled in 1967 included 28 figures in 13 different poses plus one chariot and four horse team for the chariot. Two of the figures are intended to populate the chariot.

Figures are quite simplified as well as sculpture and detail level is behind standards the hobby reached in its best years, but in 1967 the was unique and remained so for over almost 2 decades.

Airfix also included a copy of this Romans set in some playsets such some editions of the Airfix – Roman Fort and the earlier Caesar’s Gate, both having same content.
