Imex – 510 – Mexican Infantry

Description:

Unpainted plastic soldiers in 1/72 scale depicting Mexican infantry around 1830. This box contains 46 figures (1 mounted) in 12 different poses.

The poses are split into marching, advancing-charging firing and some special figures as officers or wounded, plus a particular mounted pose. Not all of them are of the same quality, but in particular we love the way the two firing poses have been arranged, one stand up and one kneeling.

This set is the unique available for the topic, usually has been cast in red color, though later examples changed this color by a more friendly grey or blue. Detail is very subtle, this figures are hard to paint.

Some of the poses were later re-issued at Imex – 520 – Mexican Artillery At The Alamo, but some new were introduced in the artillery set, extending options for the Mexican Infantry.
