Unpainted plastic soldiers in 1/72 scale depicting the famous British Long Range Desert Group during WWII, a special volunteer group created to operate behind Axis lines performing reconnaissance patrols and intelligence missions in the African theater.

Box contains 48 figures in 12 different poses, some of the suitable to populate vehicles, produced by other manufacturers such Dragon Models (See Dragon – 7439 – Long Range Desert Group (LRDG) Patrol Car w/Lewis Gun, Dragon – 7504 – Long Range Desert Group Patrol Car w/2cm Cannon or Matchbox – 40173 (PK-173) – L.R.D.G 30cwt Chevrolet Willy’s Jeep, also available under Revell brand Revell – 03225 – L.R.D.G. 30 cwt Chevrolet & Jeep.).

The 12 different poses are mostly devoted to combat/action poses, except two to fit vehicles, one officer with binoculars and one using a shovel. Uniforms and weapons are correct and suitable for the period and role of the figures, poses are quite classic ones but well executed and sculpture is very good.
