Description:

Dutch Cuirassiers

Unpainted plastic soldiers in 1/72 scale depicting Dutch Cuirassiers during the Spanish War of Succession era.

Box contains 12 mounted figures in 12 different poses, with an excellent sculpture quality in detail and pose attitude, depicting a Dutch charge, with figures waving swords and using pistols in vivid poses as well as horses in an appropriate pose for the action. Most of the figures are using the sword but also some are using the pistol and three command figures are included, with a trumpeter (is using his sword too and committed to the charge) and standard bearer (using his pistol with left hand) and an officer waving his sword.

This box is a counterpart of the Strelets – 268 – German States’ Cuirassiers in Skirmish and also depicts the different tactics used by both sides, while Dutch were more fans of a violent charge as this box depict and Germans were more conservative and only used charges after disorder enemy units with Skirmish actions or “Caracole” formation, used since previous century.
