The Strelets 1/72 Scale Plastic Figure Set – 284 – 1745 British Artillery is a good model kit that vividly portrays the British forces artillery during the Jacobite Rebellion of 1745.

Box includes ten unique figures and two guns. Each figure dons authentic British military attire and carries period-appropriate weaponry and equipment, capturing the essence of the 18th-century British artillery personnel, while the guns are too simplified and are the same used in the Spanish War of Succession sets by Strelets as well as in the counterpart set Strelets – 283 – 1745 Jacobites’ Artillery. Box is organized in just two sprues, one with the two guns and the other with the ten figures.

The British Royal Artillery hadn’t a very significant role during the Jacobite Uprising, but small caliber pieces as depicted by this set were present in the final battle of Culloden, one of the few events where the Royal Artillery saw action during the 1745 uprising.
