The M2 (or Browning .50 caliber machine gun) was a heavy machine gun, caliber 12.7mm, introduced in the early 30s and still in service through modifications, being one of the longer in service firearms. The M2 has been extensively used in all the conflicts since WWII, is the standard heavy machine gun in all NATO countries and widely mounted in all kind of vehicles and aircrafts.

As infantry support weapon, used a tripod, with a combined weight of around 58Kg and usually a crew of three members. The box includes four crew figures, while only two are strictly operating the machine gun and the other two can be used in other roles too. Figures are dressed for the European theater of the WWII.

All the figures are multi-part, three or four parts in some cases. The machine gun is moulded in four parts, two of them together with the arms of the gunner.

The quality of both sculpture and cast is on the top of the hobby and can be considered as the best depiction in general terms of the M2 machine gun available. The finest modelers can replace the machine gun itself by some after market or 3D printed product.
