Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a British Gloster Meteor, the first British jet fighter and the only Allies’ jet aircraft which saw action during WWII. Produced in upgraded variants till 1955, some of them remained in service (though as target tugs) up to the 80s and were widely exported during the early Cold War years. F.8 was the main production fighter variant in the 50-54s period and the FR.9 was an armed photo-reconnaissance variant derived from the F.8. In service with RAAF they saw action during Korean war and examples of the FR.9s were resold after service in RAF to Ecuador, Israel or Syria

Kit consists of 154 parts and include decal sheet with two markings. This kit is a variation of kit tooled in 2022 Airfix – A04064 – Gloster Meteor F.8. seems it can include new parts for the photo-reconnaissance variant FR.9.
