Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a British WWII heavy bomber aircraft Avro Lancaster, a four engined bomber introduced in the 40s, a develop result of the conditions of the war was capable of carry the heavier payloads of the war and was widely used as night bomber though not only. Over 7000 units were produced despite its late introduction in 1942.

Re-issue of kit Airfix – A09007 – Avro Lancaster B.III (Special) The Dambusters tooled in 2012 with a new decal sheet which also includes 2 markings, and as the original, for the 617 Squadron during the Operation Chastise in 1943.

This Avro Lancaster tooled in 2012 replaced the old Airfix kit from 80s, has been released several times with/or without updates since then. It’s considered a good kit, the best Avro Lancaster available. Aftermarket and extra detail kits are available.

Kit consists of 267 parts, not being suitable for beginners but better for some experienced modelers.
