AML – 72051F – FIAT G.50 FRECCIA IN SPAIN

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of an Italian Fiat G.50 Freccia fighter aircraft introduced in 1938 and produced till 1943 in almost 700 units. Fiat G.50 Freccia were used in all the fronts of the WWII were the Italian fought.

In 1938, around a dozen of the first operational G.50s were delivered to Spain as part of the Aviazione Legionaria (the Italian expeditionary air force in Nationalist service during the Spanish Civil War). They service in the Spanish Civil War was very limited, arriving to front line on January 1939, short before the end of the war, and no learnings were taken of the conflict. After the end of the war, those G.50s were transferred to the Spanish Air Force.

Limited edition of Fly Models (see related kits section) kit for the same subject with a new decal sheet, focused in the participation of the aircraft during the Spanish Civil War. Kit includes also PE (Photo etched) parts and resin cast parts.

Kit consists of 71 plastic parts, 23 resin parts and 21 PE parts. Include inject clear plastic canopy.
