FIAT G.50 BIS/AS

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of an Italian WWII fighter aircraft FIAT G.50, the first italian single seat monoplane all-metal construction which had a good performance in the early years, specially the improved version G.50 Bis version, which had an extended range. The AS variant was a ground attack field modification, fitting a bomb rack (and sand filters in the North African campaign). Another attempt to improve the ground attack was performed, A variant, but only one prototype was built.

  • Fiat G.50 bis AS, MM. 6385/351-12 of the 155 Gruppo Autonomo, Dema, April 1941
  • Fiat G.50 bis AS of JG 107 known as Jagdflieger Schule 7 ( No. 7 Fighter School), Luftwaffe, Toul-France, January 1944
