Arma Hobby – 70046 – Hurricane Mk II Reconnaissance (Deluxe Set)

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a British Hawker Hurricane WWII fighter aircraft introduced in 1937 and produced over 14.000 units across the war. Mk.II variant as the kit depicts was introduced in 1940, due the engine change the Hawker Hurricane required a longer nose. Mk.IIB and Mk.IIC mainly differed on the weapons, 12 machine guns in the case of the B variant and four 20mm guns in the case of C variant. Both usually mounted racks for bombs or external fuel tanks and at the time of the C variant introduction Hawker Hurricane was mostly used as an attack aircraft. Several Hawker Hurricane were converted to Reconnaissance roles, fitted with cameras and extra radio equipments, and usually removing some of the weapons to save the weight increase. This conversions happened on Egypt and Malta, as well on the s theater.

Deluxe edition based on the awarded Arma Hobby Hurricane kit tooled in 2019 and widely released since them in different variants and with different decals. This edition focuses on the Reconnaissance Mk.II variant, includes two full kits inside (Mk II B and C versions), a set of 3D printed resin parts, access to download (or you can order printed) extra 3D parts and two sets of canopy and wheels paint mask. Decal sheet include 6 different markings to chose from as detailed below.
