Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Cessna O-1 Bird Dog liaison and observation aircraft introduced in 1950.

Kit includes PE detail parts and 4 interesting markings all of them for Korean War, 1951 and 1952 dates. These aircrafts were often used as VIP transport, and so the markings includes Douglas MacArthur plane as well as Sir Rhoderick Robert McGrigor, admiral of the British Fleet. Together with these VIP markings, kit includes two markings for the Turkish Brigade air group who fought in the conflict. Maybe not a well known fact to many, over 30.000 Turkish served in the Korean War during its duration, in response to the UN (United Nations) resolution of military aid to South Korea in June 1950. The Turkish Brigade served attached to the U.S. 25th Infantry Division during all the conflict.
