Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 Scale of a German WW2 Messerschmitt Bf 109 Fighter Aircraft, Emil series, 3. Emil series was the main one from 1938 till 1941, and were tested in the last phases of the Spanish Civil War. E-3 were produced from 1939 to 1940, around 1,200 units were build. Emil series featured an increased fuel capacity, as well as in the late series a fussage rack for bombs or an additional fuel tank.

Sitzkrieg term, refers to the quiet war in the West front during the months from German invasion of Poland in September 1939, to the invasion of France in May 1940. The British term is Phoney War.
