Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German WWII jet fighter Heinkel He 162 Volksjäger, translated as “People’s Fighter” in German, utilized by the Luftwaffe towards the end of World War II.

B-1 variant A follow-on plan slated for 1946 aimed to utilize Heinkel firm’s upgraded 12 kN thrust Heinkel HeS 011A turbojet, boasting increased power. This plan included a lengthened fuselage to accommodate more fuel and enhance endurance, along with a widened wingspan and reduced dihedral, eliminating the need for anhedral wingtip devices. The aircraft was intended to be equipped with twin 30mm MK 108 cannons for armament.

B-1 was just a design proposal never prototyped. Kit include 3 markings, including German, French and U.S. markings, all fictional. This kit offers all new parts except canopy compared to previous AZModel Heinkel He 162 kits.
