AZ Model – AZ7894 – Gotha P.60C-6 Luftwaffe 46 “Raptor”

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German Gotha Go P.60 flying wing fighter proposal never built.

The P.60C-6, nicknamed “Raptor,” was a proposed high-altitude reconnaissance variant of the P.60 series. This design repurposed the nose section to house advanced photographic equipment instead of armament, reflecting its intended role in intelligence gathering. Additional fuel capacity was incorporated to extend operational range, and the cockpit was pressurized to accommodate high-altitude missions. The “Raptor” aimed to leverage the flying wing’s aerodynamic advantages for sustained, high-speed reconnaissance flights over enemy territory.

Not a single Gotha Go P.60 was ever build, so material to build this kit is very limited. Seems AZ Model takes an early Gotha P-60C desing with conventional two seats cockpit in tandem to develop all the series of their Gotha P-60 kits, and updates engines positions and two types of noses as changes between variants without address any other difference between the variants proposed. AZ Model already had tooled the Gotha P-60 in the past, but here moulds has been updated and changed for this 2025 release.
