Azur FRROM – 0054 – Potez 25 Salmson 18 Cmb

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a French Potez 25 Inter-Wars biplane multi-role aircraft, successfully produced in over 4000 units and with a large number of operators around the world. The aircraft was produced with several different engines as the Salmson 18, a French water-cooled radial engine (two rows of 9 cylinders each).

AZUR updates their Potez 25 kit tooled in 2019 with new parts to accommodate the new engine and a new decal sheet including three French markings.

• N°211 coded 5, 2 ème escadrille, GB I/38, Thionville Basse-Yutz, March 1933 (badge “Gaul’s Head” 2 nd iteration)
• N°2042 coded 3, 1 ère escadrille, GO I/33, Nancy, October 1932 to March 1937

Brand aware: The landing gear was in all these cases a Messier (parts C57 and C58 on sprue), not the Potez (parts C44 and C45 on sprue) as shown on the markings profile pictures. However, building instructions are right.

There is a second aware about decal sheet, where Number 211 appear as 201 on images, is still not clear is this has been corrected on printed version of the decal sheet.
