Special Hobby – SH72420 – Potez 25A2 “Jupiter Version”

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a French Potez 25, a biplane aircraft introduced during 20s and exported and produced under license in many other countries, reaching a production number of over 4000 units with over half of them produced in France, making the Potez 25 one of the most produced inter-wars aircraft. In service in several countries the type also saw service during the early stages of the World War II.

Initially powered by a lineal engine, Jupiter variant was an export variant powered by a Gnome-Rhône 9Ac Jupiter radial engine. Exported to several countries it was also produced under license in Yugoslavia and Portugal. A.2 variant was an specific two-seat reconnaissance version.

Kit includes decal sheet with 3 different markings, Estonian, Finnish and Yugoslavian, all of them dated in the 30s. The Finnish variant can be fitted with skis rather than wheels. Kit has been upgraded with a small 3D printed detail part and also includes PE (Photo etched) parts. This kit was originally tooled by Azzur-FRROM in 2019 and released since then in the Special Hobby catalogue.
