Henschel Hs 126 B1

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German WW2 Henschel Hs 126 B1, an open cockpit  two-seat reconnaissance and observation aircraft.

Despite of being a good and reliable aircraft, at beginning of the WW2 was already superseded by other aircrafts in the reconnaissance role and production was stopped in 1941 and theoretically retired of service by 1942, but the model was used in the eastern front as night ground attack aircraft and also as glider tug, being probably in this role, the famous action this type took service, when in September 1943 were used to tug the gliders used in the rescue of Mussolini.

Box contains photo etched detail parts and decals with numerals for 4 different markings.
