Dora Wings – DW72038 – Vultee Vengeance MkI/IA

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a U.S. Vultee A-31 Vengeance dive bomber developed during WWII and build by Vultee Aircraft that saw no service with the U.S. forces but instead served on the British RAF or Australian RAF in the Pacific theater. Almost 2000 units were build.

MkI and IA variant were produced by Northrop under license for British forces, with only difference between them in the engine.

Dora Wings tool this kit in 2024, is not a widespread subject in 1/72 scale but other makers tooled it in the past as Special Hobby.

Kit include a large number of PE (photo-etched) parts, decal sheet include 4 markings, with options for 2 x RAF markings (Burma), 1 Indian Air force (IAF) and one Brazilian Air Force marking. Kit also include adhesive paint mask for canopy.
