ESCI – 9103 – Hercules MkI/II

Description:

The last ESCI C-130 kit released was a British Mk.I/Mk.II variant, basically a re-decal of the C-130H cargo variant (ESCI – 9102 – C130H Hercules (C-130H)). The Mk.I or Mk.II is not a contemporary designation of the aircraft, commonly known as C-130K (export variant to UK), with designations C.1 (equivalent to C-130H), C.3 (C-130H-30 and stretched variant of the original H airframe) and W.2, a designation for a single C-130H acquired by the British Meteorological Office.

Kit include a single marking for British Forces during Operation Desert Storm. The British C-130K are also distinguishable by the communications parts top of fuselage, sided to the right, also included in the kit.
