Fine Molds – FX03 – F-4J U.S. Navy Blue Angels

Update of Fine Molds F-4J kit with a new decal sheet with markings for the U.S. Navy Aerobatic team Blue Angels, includes numerals enough to depict any of the 1 to 7 F-4Js of the Blue Angels. Kit include also two pilot figures, and strangely, weapons payload options as bonus, when the F-4Js of the Blue Angels only use dummy Sparrow missile as smoker unit for their shows, and other releases that can make a better use of the weapons payload are forced to purchase the separate available sets by the brand and include none.

The Blue Angels used the McDonnell Douglas F-4J Phantom II from 1969 (after the  Grumman F11F-1 Tiger) to 1974 when switched to Douglas A-4F Skyhawk II.
