Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a U.S. heavy bomber and strategic bomber Boeing B-29 Superfortress in British service, were they were known as Washington B.1. After the war, the U.S. supplied 87 B-29s to equip RAF with a nuclear capable bomber able to reach Soviet Union. They served from 1950 to 1954 till they were replaced by the English Electric Canberra for the same role.

Repack of Academy kit (Academy Hobby Models – 12517 – USAAF B-29A “OLD BATTLER”) with paint mask and new decal sheet, printed by Cartograf, with 3 new markings, all the 3 markings are RAF markings, dated 1951 to 1953.
