IBG – 72564 – I.A.R. 80 Early Gathering the Storm 1941

Description:

First release of the new tool of 2024 by IBG Models, devoted to the Romanian I.A.R. 80 WWII fighter aircraft. Around 450 units were produced of this aircraft, that had comparable characteristics to other contemporary fighters, though the lack of materials, components and weapons delayed its enter in service till 1941, for when other aircrafts already evolved and developed, while the IAR 80 1939 design started to be outclassed.

The series features a deep coverage of the subject with an excellent detail and lot of options to build different variants.

This first release include 3 markings, dated 1941 and belonging to early IAR 80s, with the main problem of the armament, consisting of 4 x machine guns, 7.92 mm caliber.
