C-119C FLYING BOXCAR

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a U.S. Fairchild C-119 Flying Boxcar transport aircraft, introduced in service in 1949. Saw service in Korean War, French Indochina and Vietnam War, where even some of them were converted into the gunships program.

Kit includes also a Dodge WC51 truck as load, which despite of being built during WW2 was still present during Korean War.

Kit includes U.S. and French decals, France used around 9 aircrafts of the type in Indochina, loaned from the USAF, with a central role during the siege at Dien Bien Phu, dropping supplies and paratroops.
