Kovozávody Prostějov (KP) – KPM0410 – MiG-21PFM

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Soviet Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 fighter aircraft, introduced in the very late 50s and still in service in some countries in upgraded variants. MiG-21 is the most produced supersonic jet aircraft in the world with over 11000 units produced and historically operated by over 60 countries.

MiG-21PFM (introduced in 1964; Izdeliye 94; NATO reporting name “Fishbed-F”) was an interceptor variant with upgraded avionics, radar and weapons options including air to surface capabilities. Several sub-variants were produced including nuclear capable ones and export versions with different avionics (downgraded) and downgraded weapons capabilities.

Update with new decal sheet including 4 markings for Soviet, Czechoslovakian, Yugoslavian and Bulgarian options. Originally an R.V. Aircraft kit tooled in 2012 and upgraded with new parts for different variants several times since then. KP has been using these molds since 2017.
