Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a French World War I fighter aircraft Nieuport 11, nicknamed “Bébé“.

The Nieuport 11 (Nieuport XI C.1) was a single seat sesquiplane (biplane where one of the wings is significant smaller than the other, usually the lower) introduced in 1916 and was the first allied aircraft that balanced the air force against Germany, who had enjoyed a significant advantage in the air during the first year of the war.

Nieuport 11 was produced in large quantities and operated by several allied nations, destacable in Italian service where it was produced under license as Nieuport-Macchi 11000.
