Second release of the Pilatus PC-9 kit with a new decal sheet for PC-9/A variants, including British, Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) and the Myanmar Air Force (MAF). Straight kit with just plastic parts and decal sheet as seen in te pictures below.

The Pilatus PC-9 has served in both the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) and the Myanmar Air Force (MAF), playing significant roles in their pilot training programs.

In the RTAF, the PC-9 was utilized as a primary training aircraft. After years of service, the RTAF officially retired the PC-9 fleet on February 2, 2024, during a decommissioning ceremony at the RTAF Flying Training School located at Kamphaeng Saen Air Base. This retirement marked the end of an era, as the PC-9 had been instrumental in training numerous Thai pilots.

The MAF incorporated the PC-9 into its fleet during the 1980s, acquiring a total of ten aircraft. These turboprop trainers were primarily stationed in Lashio, where they provided close air support in counter-insurgency operations. As of 2025, the PC-9 remains an active component of the MAF’s training and operational missions.

Both air forces have leveraged the PC-9’s capabilities to enhance their pilot training and operational readiness, underscoring the aircraft’s versatility and reliability in various military contexts.
