The Grumman G-44 Widgeon is a light amphibious aircraft developed in the early 1940s as a smaller counterpart to the larger Grumman Goose. Originally designed as a civilian executive and commuter aircraft, it quickly found military applications during World War II, serving with the U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, and allied forces in patrol, search-and-rescue, and transport roles. The Widgeon features a high-wing monoplane design, twin radial engines mounted on the wings, and a hull capable of water landings, making it highly versatile for operations in remote or coastal areas. Post-war, many were converted for civilian use, becoming popular with bush pilots, island-hopping services, and private owners. Its rugged construction, STOL (short takeoff and landing) capability, and amphibious design ensured a long service life, with some aircraft still flying today in various roles.

This release features a decal sheet with three foreign users markings as Portugal, Israel and New Zealand (civilian Tourist Air Travel airline marking).
