The Sopwith Triplane was a British fighter aircraft used during World War I, known for its distinctive three-wing design, which provided exceptional maneuverability and a superior rate of climb compared to its contemporaries. Introduced in 1916 and primarily operated by the Royal Naval Air Service (RNAS), the Triplane proved highly effective in aerial combat, influencing later aircraft designs, including the famous Fokker Dr.I used by German forces. Although it was eventually replaced by more advanced fighters, the Sopwith Triplane left a lasting legacy in early military aviation.

This 1/72 scale unassembled plastic model kit faithfully replicates the Sopwith Triplane’s unique design and historical significance, offering modelers an opportunity to build and display one of the most iconic aircraft of the First World War.

Decal sheet include 3 markings, two RNAS (Royal Navy Air Service) and one German captured marking. Kp tooled this kit in 2020 and consists of just 35 parts.
