RS Models – 92290 – Heinkel He-280 V3

Description:

Plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German WWII early turbojet aircraft Heinkel He-280, the first jet fighter aircraft which flight in the world, first flight in 1940. The project was cancelled, after 9 prototypes built, in 1943.

The V3 prototype first flew in 1942. In 1945 the tail was found at Heinkel-Sud factory complex in Austria.

This kit is similar to RS Models – 92149 – He-280 with HeS engine (see with a picture of box content) with a new decal sheet including 4 markings, two German markings and two Italian “what if” markings. The German markings are CJ+CB, original marking of the V3, and NU+EB, a marking of the V7 prototype which mostly flew as glider, that’s why the marking sheet depict this variant without engines and with towing parts in the nose.
