Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Japanese WWII Mitsubishi G4M, a land based twin engined medium bomber introduced in 1941 and produced in almost 2500 units. The Allied reporting name was “Betty” and was produced in four man variants, being G4M1 the the initial production series, with several updates during its life, produced till 1944.

In the several changes on the production, Sword choose two to update, the engine exhausts and a new tail cone which improved tail gunner visibility. The tail was changed in mid 1943, while the new exhausts were issued after the unit produced 954th in September 1943.

Update with new parts of kit Sword – SW72144 – Mitsubishi G4M1 Model 11 “Betty”. Kit consists of around 87 plastic parts plus 31 clear parts and two resin parts for the engine cowlings. Decal sheet includes two markings.
