LF Models – PE7270 – Scout AH.1 British service

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a British Westland Scout, a military utility helicopter developed in the 60s, with around 150 units produced and in service till mid 80s.

AH.1 was the only variant produced, though a number of different configurations were allowed and tested during years of service, including light attack variants with different armament such AT missile or machine guns. Other general tasks performed by the Westland Scout were CASEVAC (casualty evacuation), fitted with two stretchers either internally or in external pods, observation, liaison or search and rescue.

Newly tooled kit in 2024. Include decal sheet with 4 markings, including one RAF marking, one Special Air Services marking, one Empire State Pilots School marking and one The Army Rotary Wing Training Flight marking.
