LF Models – PE7271 – Wasp HAS.1 International service

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a British Westland Wasp light anti-submarine helicopter, developed together with the Westland Scout (LF Models – PE7270 – Scout AH.1 British service) from the Saunders-Roe P.531 after Saunders-Roe was acquired by Westland.

Introduced in the mid 60s, remained in service till late 80s, seeing service and action during the Falklands war. Both the Westland Scout and the Westland Wasp shared many components and production despite their different role and design.

Newly tooled kit in 2024, include decal sheet with 4 markings, with two Royal Navy makings option, one Royal Netherlands Navy marking and one Royal New Zealand Navy marking. Kit include some 3D printed parts.
