Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a U.S. heavy transport helicopter Boeing CH-47 Chinook, introduced in the early 60s and still in service with several operators.

An original Matchbox kit tooled in 1986 and released again in 1989 with little box layout variations. Exactly same kit without variations was released later under Revell brand, in 1992 and 1995, both times with different decals, and later, by Hasegawa, in 1996 and 1997 who upgraded some parts to reflect the Japanese variant. Under Matchbox release, the kit always included decal sheet with 4 markings, three British RAF, including one for Falklands (Malvinas) 1982 and one U.S. Army.
