Bell OH-58D Aeroscout

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a U.S. Bell OH-58 Kiowa observation and reconnaissance helicopter derived from the Bell 206 civil utility helicopter and introduced in service in the late 60s.

OH-58D is an improved variant introduce in 1985 which initially was used as target designation role, but D variant was later armed and the base for the Kiowa Warrior which most of the D produced ended up converted to the armed variant, 1991 onwards.

Original Matchbox kit tooled in 1987 and released till 1997. Later Revell reissued the model a couple of times in 2015. Same box art was used in all the boxes variants. Decal sheet with two markings for the U.S. Army, and looks like it doesn’t changed over the time.
