Revell – 03805 – Westland Lynx Mk.88

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a British multi-purpose Westland Lynx helicopter. Entered service in the late 70s quickly was adopted for a number of different roles such search and rescue, anti-submarine warfare (as the version depicted by the kit) and others.

Reissue of the old Matchbox kit Matchbox – PK-108 (4018) – Westland Aerospatiale Lynx, tooled in 1974. According to parts’ picture seems nothing has been changed in the kit. Revell already issued this Matchbox kit in 1992 under code number 04409. Kit consists of just 66 parts and include decal sheet with one single German marking. Note that Revell already fixed some of the problems of the original kit in the 1992 release, as update doors with a bigger window (instead of 3 small windows as the original Matchbox) and some other fixes.
