Flettner 282 B-0

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German WWII Flettner Fl 282 ( intermeshing) rotor helicopter. The B series had an open cockpit. The type is the first world’s helicopter to be successfully operated from a ship. At least three examples were captured by Allies.

Kit includes decal sheet with 4 markings and PE detail set.

  • 1. Flettner 282 V6 Prototype, Cruiser “Köln”, Baltic sea 1942
  • 2. Flettner 282 V18, 3./Bflgrp 196, Pillau, August 1944
  • 3. Flettner 282 V20, captured by the British, May 1945
  • 4. Flettner 282 V16, tested in Sukovskoje, USSR, 1947
