Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Star Wars Tie Fighter, released by Fine Molds in 2002, updated with a new box in 2004 and released a last time in 2010 in a limited edition all casted in chromed plastic. It includes two figures, a seated pilot and a Stormtrooper.

At the time and for years was without doubts the finest representation in 1/72 scale of the Galactic Empire Tie Fighter “Space Superiority Starfighter” and remains as an appreciated model in competence with the later releases by Bandai for the same topic (Bandai – BAN994870 – Star Wars TIE Fighter). There is an important difference between both lines of kits, in between 2002 and Bandai releases in 2015, the Star War universe was subject to revision many times and so the official measure of the things, Bandai TIE fighter is considerably bigger than Fine Molds one and can’t be put side by side in a scene. This is a common fact amongst the two lines, being Fine Molds smaller than Bandai line for the same subjects.
