Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Soviet KV-1 tank, in German service and retrofitted with German standard upgrades such the commander’s cupola (and addition not common to other KV-1 captured tanks).

Many sources confuse the German designations for Captured KV-1 tanks, and certainly there is not too much information about them except few examples, its common designation is Pz. 753(r). To complicate even more things, what Trumpeter depicts in this kit is a single unit know of 756(r), a field modification which added the powerful 7.5cm KwK 40 L/43 German gun into a KV-1B tank. Apparently, this only unit served in the 204th Panzer Regiment of the 22nd Panzer Division during the battle of Kursk in the summer 1943, wearing a flat sand yellow paint scheme, as the instructions sheet of the kit suggests.

Kit consists of 91 parts, includes single piece vinyl tracks and decal sheet includes one marking.
