Description:

The Stryker M1126 Infantry Carrier Vehicle (ICV) is the baseline configuration of the Stryker family, an eight-wheeled armored vehicle series developed for the U.S. Army in the early 2000s. Designed to carry a nine-man infantry squad plus a two-man crew (driver and vehicle commander), the M1126 offers mobility, protection, and networked battlefield capabilities suited for rapid deployment and urban combat.

The M1126 is equipped with a Remote Weapon Station (RWS), typically mounting a .50 caliber M2 machine gun or a 40mm automatic grenade launcher. Some variants use the CROWS II system for enhanced optics and targeting. Its armor can be supplemented with slat or reactive panels for increased protection against RPGs and IED threats.

Based on the Canadian LAV III design, the Stryker ICV emphasizes strategic mobility—being air-transportable by C-130—and has been used extensively in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other operations since its introduction. Its eight-wheel drive and central tire inflation system give it excellent cross-country mobility, though it is not intended for front-line tank engagements.

As part of an evolving vehicle family, the M1126 has served as a platform for numerous other variants, including command vehicles, mortar carriers, anti-tank versions, and medical evacuation units, making it one of the most versatile and widely used armored platforms in the U.S. inventory.

Transform has a well number of Stryker variants in catalogue and adds this one more in 2025 with several different configurations options mainly playing with some stowage and secondary weapons.
