Soviet 45mm Anti-Tank Gun mod.1942

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Soviet 30s and WWII anti tank gun, 45mm, production model 1942. It’s official designation was M-42, and upgrade of the precious models like model 53-K, 1937. Despite not able of pierce heavy Germans tanks, remained in production from 1942 to 1945, able to pierce Panzer IV tanks and derived, as well as Panther’s side armour at shorter distance. Model 1942 introduced a larger barrel than 1937 model and thicker shield, abling to fire shells with more powerful cartridges.

Kit includes PE parts, not optional, all the shield of the gun, for example, is made of photo-etched parts and there is no plastic parts options for this. Kit includes also a small munitions carriage.
