Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Russian Tiger-M armored car upgraded with a Kornet-D anti-tank missile system.

The Kornet-D is a modernized, long-range anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) system developed by Russia. It is an upgraded version of the 9K135 Kornet, featuring improved firepower, automation, and extended range. The Kornet-D system is typically mounted on vehicles, such as the Tigr-M 4×4 armored vehicle, providing enhanced mobility and firepower for anti-armor and precision strike missions.

Equipped with two automatic launchers, the Kornet-D can engage targets at ranges up to 10 km (day) and 8 km (night) with fire-and-forget capabilities using laser-beam guidance. The missiles can penetrate over 1,300 mm of armor behind explosive reactive armor (ERA), making it highly effective against modern tanks, fortifications, and even low-flying helicopters. The system is known for its ability to launch two missiles simultaneously at a single target, increasing the probability of a successful hit against active protection systems (APS) like Trophy or Afghanit.

Update of ACE Tiger-M kit with new parts for the Kornet-D system. Also update parts for the main body, without side windows and fire ports. Include decal sheet with 3 markings, an Algerian marking amongst them. This is a hard to build kit and not recommended for beginners.
