ACE – 72188 – Tiger-M with heavy MG module Arbalet (Ukrainian Army)

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Russian Tiger-M armored car in Ukrainian service, captured during the Russo-Ukrainian war started in 2022.

Variant of kit ACE – 72189 – Armored Vehicle 233115 Tiger-M SpN (in Ukrainian service) with new parts for the “Arbalet” module as well as new decal sheet.

The Arbalet is capable of hosting either a Kord 12.7 mm machine gun with a capacity of 150 rounds or a PKTM 7.62 mm machine gun carrying 250 rounds. Equipped with TV and thermal imaging cameras, it enables target identification up to 2.5 km and 1.5 km, respectively. Additionally, it features an integrated laser rangefinder and the capability to lock onto and track targets.

Kit include rubber wheels, doesn’t include PE parts. The new decal sheet features two markings seen in 2022 and 2023 in Ukraine.

For time ACE Tiger-M kit was the only one available in 1/72 scale, but with the irruption of the RPG-MODEL – 72001 – “Tigzer-M” SPN SPV Russian GAZ 233115 (Tiger-M) there are more options to choice, and though both kits are highly detailed, RPG-Model kit is better engineered making assembly easier and preferred option by many modelers.
