The KrAZ-255B was a powerful 6×6 heavy-duty truck developed in the Soviet Union and produced by the Kremenchuk Automobile Plant (KrAZ) starting in the mid-1960s. It became one of the most iconic and widely used military trucks of the Cold War, serving in logistics, engineering, and artillery towing roles across the USSR and Warsaw Pact countries. Known for its exceptional off-road capability, the KrAZ-255B featured large, wide-profile tires, a robust chassis, and permanent all-wheel drive, allowing it to navigate rough terrain, mud, snow, and river fords with ease.

Powered by a YaMZ-238 V8 diesel engine, it had high torque and could carry payloads of up to 7.5 tons or tow heavy artillery and equipment.
